Why become a member of Palmyra Rugby Union Club?
Becoming a member of a Palmyra Rugby Union Club offers numerous benefits and opportunities for engagement within the community. Our social members will receive priority access to club ticketing links for events throughout the year.
Your membership provides an avenue for socialising and networking with like-minded individuals who share a passion for rugby. Whether you are a player, spectator, or enthusiast, the Club serves as a hub for connecting with others with bonds that can last a lifetime.
Membership fees assist to maintain the financial stability of the Club. Membership fees offer a consistent and predictable source of income, allowing the Club to budget effectively and plan for the future.
By becoming a member, you contribute to the Club’s fundraising efforts and aid in the development of programs, training facilities, and sporting events, thereby enriching the lives of individuals of all ages and backgrounds.

What are the membership Categories?
Social membership - $55 per year
Valid from 1 April of the current season through to 31 March of the following calendar year. This tier of membership does not allow voting rights at the AGM. Social membership includes the Tompkins membership and allows the social member to purchase food and beverage at the Tompkins bar.
Ordinary Membership - $110 per year
Valid from 1 April of the current season through to 31 March of the following calendar year. This tier of membership allows the member to hold any office and includes the privilege of voting rights at the AGM. Ordinary membership includes the Tompkins membership and allows the ordinary member to purchase food and beverage at the Tompkins bar.
Junior Member and their Parents/Guardians
Add your pricing strategy. Be sure to include important details like value, length of service, and why it’s unique.Any person under the age of 18 who is registered as a player becomes a Junior Member. Junior Members shall have no voting rights nor be entitled to hold any office. One parent of the Junior Member will be given membership. This membership covers the parents Tompkins Park membership only. Parents utilising this membership option have no voting rights. The 2 nd parent will be a guest of the member parent. If a 2 nd membership is needed, the 2 nd parent must join as one of the other membership options available.
Life Member – no cost
This tier of membership commences when the Life Membership is approved at the PRUC AGM. There is no expiry on this membership. Life membership entitles the member to the privilege of voting rights at the AGM. Life membership includes the Tompkins membership and allows the lifemember to purchase food and beverage at the Tompkins bar.
Senior Player Membership - included in Rugby Xplorer registration fees
Valid from 1 April of the current season through to 31 March of the following calendar year. This membership entitles the registered player to the privilege of voting rights at the AGM. Senior Player membership includes the Tompkins membership and allows the senior player to purchase food and beverage at the Tompkins bar.

All PRUC memberships are annual. Memberships commence 1 April of the current playing season and conclude 31 March of the following calendar year.
If you renew before your expiry date, then your new one-year membership term starts from the existing expiry date, not from the date of actual renewal. No one is disadvantaged by renewing early.

If you are a senior registered player, you will enjoy the privilege of voting at the AGM. Junior registered players do not have voting rights.

Your membership will expire on 31 March after the season and prior to the new Rugby season. A reminder to renew your membership will be posted on the PRUC socials and an email will be sent to the email address provide with a link to pay the membership for the following year. Memberships are automatically included in the senior player registration fees.

Yes, you will receive a membership card from Tompkins which must be used when you purchase food and drinks at the bar. The membership card will need to be collected from the Tompkins Office. Please note Tompkins Park will be changing to digital membership cards in 2025. You will receive an email to your registered email address with a link to access your digital membership card. Only Life Members will receive a physical upon request.

Your contact details will be added to the PRUC membership mailing list to allow PRUC and Tompkins to communicate with you. Your details will not be shared with any other entities.

Tompkins is a licensed club and therefore subject to the relevant Western Australia Liquor Licensing laws. The club license authorises the sale and supply of liquor to financial members and guests only. All patrons at Tompkins who intend to consume alcohol or food must be a financial member of Tompkins, or a guest.

Annual membership – The membership cost is $20 per year and this membership is included in all tiers of PRUC membership.

PRUC members need to pay the membership fees by 1 April of each new season to enjoy the privileges of being a Tompkins member which entitles the member to purchase alcohol and food at the Tompkins bar.

As an affiliate club under the Tompkins Constitution, paying your Tompkins membership via the PRUC allows you to join Tompkins as a member, and the fee paid goes to PRUC instead of Tompkins.
Additionally, when you purchase food or drinks at the bar, a portion of your spend which we will call ‘dividends’ will be paid to PRUC.

A Tompkins membership is required to purchase food and drinks at the Tompkins bar. If you don’t purchase your membership via PRUC, your membership fee will go directly to Tompkins, and the PRUC will not receive your membership fee or any ‘dividends’ from Tompkins.

By showing your Tompkins membership card or the digital membership card on your mobile (once implemented), whenever you make a purchase at the bar, this will ensure that your purchases are allocated to the PRUC which will then be apportioned the ‘dividend’ paid to PRUC by Tompkins.

Like other members and guests’ clubs, if you do not have your membership card, you may be refused service. Also, any purchase you make won’t be recorded against PRUC and the Club won’t receive a dividend.

Yes, all members are entitled to bring 5 guests with them to Tompkins. All guests over the age of 18 must sign in at the registration desk in the foyer when they arrive at Tompkins. They will need to use your membership card to make purchases as the bar.

Yes, your child/ren is one of your guests. Please be aware that Tompkins is a licensed venue. As with all licensed venues, your child is welcome inside the venue as long as they are seated at a table with you when inside. Children must be seated with their parents at all times when inside the licensed venue. Children are not able to approach the bar. Children are allowed to utilise the playground outside but must return to a seat when inside the venue. Shoes and clothing must be worn at all times by when inside the venue.

No, as they are underage and not consuming alcohol, they do not need to sign in.

Yes, for rugby purposes non-members such as visitors, opposition players and supporters can attend Tompkins. There is an exclusion under the Liquor Licensing laws that allows non-members to attend the Tompkins facility for the purposes of watching or playing rugby.
